Establishment of the Hong Kong Seamen's Union
On 6 March 1921, the Hong Kong Seamen's Union was formally established, marking the beginning of organised labour movement in Hong Kong. The union actively fought for fair wages and improved working conditions for seamen, becoming an important pioneer for future workers' organisations.
