香港海員工會自1913年參與孫中山革命起步，歷經1921年正式建會與港英政府的三度查封，期間以「餘閒樂社」等掩護形式堅持抗日救亡，最終於1946年戰後正式復會。

Hong Kong Seamen's Union

Since leading historic maritime labor strikes in the 1920s, the Hong Kong Seamen’s Union has shared a closely intertwined destiny with the Chinese nation. Hong Kong seamen have made immense and irreplaceable contributions during pivotal historical moments, including the Anti-Japanese War, World War II Allied naval transport, breaking maritime blockades for New China, and ongoing national construction. Concurrently, the union has been a steadfast advocate for seamen’s rights, welfare, family support, and professional training. Since the handover, it has actively supported the SAR government and promoted the maritime industry, continuing to play a vital role in Hong Kong's long-term prosperity under "One Country, Two Systems" and the broader rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
